An organic farm just outside Bogotá, and coffee explained from the plant to the cup.
You will see how the beans are picked, how an organic crop is managed and how many stages coffee goes through before it reaches your kitchen: pulping, drying, hulling and roasting. Then comes the part that hooks people, a sensory cupping where you learn to tell good coffee from ordinary coffee.
We eat a criollo lunch right there, made with produce from the farm, and you meet the work of the Colombian farming women behind one of the best cups in the world. You head home with a souvenir from the farm.
