Medellín is the city that has changed the most in Colombia, and it tells you so itself: every street downtown holds an episode, and every mural in Comuna 13 is an answer to what happened there.
We start at Pueblito Paisa and carry on through the centre: La Alpujarra, Plaza de las Luces, the old railway station, the Carabobo walkway, the Palacio Nacional, the Veracruz church, Plaza Botero, the Pedro Nel murals, Parque Berrío, the Junín walkway, Parque Bolívar and Parque San Antonio. Along the way we talk about the Medellín of the eighties and nineties, without dodging it.
The afternoon is for Comuna 13: its graffiti, its galleries, Operación Orión and, above all, what life is like up there today.
